Jason Eckhart, PE

President & Owner

As owner and president of Zanevan Engineering, Jason brings over 30 years of experience leading projects and personnel across a wide range of significant infrastructure engagements. He is deeply familiar with the procedures and processes of major funding agencies, including MoDOT LPA and CDBG-funded projects.

His project experience spans highway bridges, sidewalks and trails, ADA accessibility, bridge rehabilitation, reinforced concrete design, river and floodplain hydraulics, forensic investigations of residential and commercial structures, stormwater and hydrology, sanitary sewer and water distribution systems, and residential subdivisions.

He founded Zanevan Engineering on the principle that clients deserve individualized attention from project inception through construction oversight — and a firm that treats engineering as a relationship, not a transaction.

Chase Fisher

Director of Business Development & GIS Services

Chase leads Zanevan's Geospatial Division, bringing 20+ years of public-sector GIS experience to state and local government, utilities, and infrastructure clients across the region.

Most recently, Chase served as a Solution Engineer Team Lead at Esri, leading teams that deliver geospatial solutions for state and local governments. That work gave him hands-on experience helping agencies modernize workflows and make data-driven decisions — experience he now brings directly to Zanevan clients.

Prior to Esri, Chase held city and county GIS leadership roles and founded a drone and GIS consultancy. He is an FAA-certified remote pilot focused on helping public-sector agencies operate more effectively through geospatial technology.

Mark Stanley, PE, CFM

Project Manager

Mark has worked as a civil engineering consultant for over a decade, with a primary focus on stormwater and hydraulic design for public and private infrastructure projects. He is an ASFPM Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) with experience in FEMA LOMC/LOMA submittals and USACE 404 Permitting.

His broader engineering experience includes geotechnical design, civil site design, sewer and septic design and permitting, and public transportation improvements.

Project Manager

Zeb brings 24+ years of municipal government experience to Zanevan, including 15 years serving as a Public Works Director and 18 years in building inspections. He has extensive experience in the planning and budgeting of city projects.

His project background spans building rehabilitations and new construction, sidewalk projects, infrastructure development, and city streets — bringing the perspective of someone who has sat in the public works director's chair to every engagement.

Dusty West

Project Manager

Dusty has worked as a Civil Designer for 27+ years, primarily focused on infrastructure design for both public and private projects. His work includes site mapping and construction inspection.

He also brings 8 years of experience as GIS Manager for various cities — making him a natural bridge between Zanevan's civil engineering work and the firm's expanding geospatial services.

Project Manager

Chris brings over 30 years of AutoCAD drafting and design experience to every Zanevan project. He has a deep working knowledge of design across the firm's full project mix, including streets and street widening, water and sewer systems, stormwater, bridge replacement and rehabilitation, sidewalks, and enhancement projects.

Senior Construction Inspector

Larry brings 40+ years of construction inspection experience to Zanevan's field oversight work. He is a certified MoDOT and ACI technician with hands-on inspection experience across storm sewers, water and wastewater systems, city streets, and state and federal highways.
